Lanky step 1

To make the mouth, get an oval of orange Model Magic® (See Mixing Colors) and fold it in half, leaving the fold line showing. To make the nose, roll a tiny piece of red Model Magic® into a ball. To make the rest of the head, get a piece of brown Model Magic® and shape it like an oval with a wave on top. To make the eyes, roll two tiny pieces of white Model Magic® into balls and squish them coin shaped. Put a pupil in the center with a pen, and cover the top with a little more brown Model Magic®. To make the sleeve and arm, roll a long column of brown Model Magic® and attach an orange triangle foot to the bottom. Attach white to the top for a sleeve, then attach the sleeve to the side of the head.

Lanky step 2

Repeat the arm in step two for the other side.

Lanky so far.

Lanky step 3

To make Lanky's trousers, get a piece of blue Model Magic® and roll it flat until it is about the width of your pinky finger nail. Make two short brown legs and attach to very short pant legs. Attach the pant legs to the trousers. For feet, do the same as you did for hands in step 1.

For the buttons, roll two tiny pieces of yellow Model Magic® into balls. put them on.

Lanky step 4

For the shirt, flatten some orange and white Model Magic® to the same width as the trousers. Put the two colors together, white on top, orange on bottom. Attach the white to the bottom of the head, and the orange to the top of the trousers.

Lanky step 5

Attach straps by rolling two thin columns of blue Model Magic® of the size you need and putting them above the buttons. Strengthen the areas where things are attached, such as the arm and leg joints.

Lanky step 6

Use a pen to draw X's on the buttons.

Lanky step 7

If your Lanky flops over, you may need to attach toothpicks to the back of Lanky's body.

Toothpicks are not safe for small kids! Please supervise closely!

Lanky step 8

To attach the toothpicks to the back of Lanky, get small blobs of Model Magic® and attach the bottoms with them.

Lanky step 9

Attach the tops the same way. Then attach the middles of the toothpicks with more Model Magic®.

Lanky step 10

Finish up anything else you need to do. Make certain the toothpicks aren't sticking out. Lanky's red nose should be right in front and between his eyes.

To make Lanky stand,

lean him forward and put his arms in front of him. If he falls forward, put more wieght on his back legs, and if he falls backwards, put more wieght in front.

Lanky Lives!

(Imagine) and PLAY!
